Friday 03 August 2012

The 2.8" TFT LCD Displays used on the uLCD-28PT(SGC) and uLCD-28PT(GFX) are now driven with a different Driver IC (ILI9341). The Mechanical and Optical Specifications of the Display remain the same. The new Driver IC require different Display Initialization Settings.

The only change, as far as the Customers are concerned, is the Display Initialization Settings.

  • We have already generated new PmmC files for the uLCD-28PT(SGC &GFX) with new Driver IC which can be found under the DOWNLOADs tab on the respective product pages.
  • The uLCD-28PT(SGC &GFX) could be distinguished through the markings on the warranty label on the uSD Socket on-board, “IS” specifies ILI9341 Driver IC and hence it would require the new PmmCs.
     - uLCD-28PT-IS-GFX-R30.pmmc (Latest ILI9341 Driver IC) for uLCD-28PT(GFX)
