Description

The GPS-PA5 is the second generation of the popular GPS receiver modules. It has a finely tuned highly sensitive Patch on Top (POT) ceramic antenna utilizing SmartAntenna technology. This SMD type POT GPS module is now smaller than ever and is an ideal solution for those who wish to incorporate GPS functionality into their design without having to worry about RF noise interference or any additional antenna fine tuning adjustment. Due to its high sensitivity, it is able to excel in tracking performances under urban landscapes or other environments where GPS signals can be difficult to acquire. The module is powered by the MediaTek Inc. (MTK) 51 channel Single Chip GPS solution.

The module has a compact design with excellent tracking performance, accurate positioning, extremely high sensitivity and ease of integration into any design.  All this makes the GPS-PA5 the best choice for any system designer who wishes to simplify GPS system integration in to their embedded application.
